30833- PRE WW2 UNMARKED MAUSER K98K TYPE BAYONET FOR POSSIBLE EXPORT OR PORTUGEUSE CONTRACT. Completely reminiscent of finely made German k98k bayonet with brilliant original blue but no markings on stopped fuller false edge blade. Pommel and blue flash guard with waffenamt “WaA253” crisply struck along with E prefix five digit serial number just below locking release button. Original two-piece wood grip panels held by unturned screws. Unmarked scabbard with traces of original blue finish. Period frog is excellent. Unmarked riscasso may point to Spanish M43 or Portugeuse contract. Rare bayonet in very fine condition.
